Don’t Waste Your Time Use It To Make Money

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

If you are looking to make some money offline it seems pretty hard in the present climate, but there are jobs going if you look hard enough.

Most jobs though are part time or just a few hours a day.  Window cleaners are few and far between so this is one area you could look at. It is two years since I saw a sign of one and I live in quite a large residential area.  I believe the cost to a normal semi is in the region of £15. which is not to be sneezed at so you could make good money.

People are willing to pay to have their dogs walked, especially in the cold weather, here again a flyer through the letterbox or an ad in a local shop could soon get you earning money.

Pet sitting also pays, it is suprising how many people would be glad of your services.

As and when Spring arrives, most homes look weathered and dowdy, try offering a house cleaning service, spucing up the doors and paintwork to make the outside of the home look fresh and clean again.

How about home computer lessons for newbies, or if you are good at a certain subject like maths, geography, history, etc, offer evening tutor sessions.  Many people would love to learn certain crafts if you have patience and believe you could teach them then give it a try.

Just find something you are good at, that you think someone might like to learn then jump in, a few flyers or ads in shops could do the trick and get you earning again.

Ways and Ideas to Make Money.

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

Today I am changing tack and veering away from health problems. I am changing over to ways and ideas to make money. These ideas can be online or offline where ever my thoughts take me.

Some may be simple jobs where you can make a few dollars to tide you over, and hopefully others will keep you working to make a reasonable living.

I am open to ideas so if you want to respond with some of your own ideas then I am sure every one will be interested.

The winter months can be cold and miserable and not many people relish the thought of going out in the cold to tidy up the garden.  This one job you could do, nothing looks worse than dead plants and leaves cluttering the garden and I am sure many people would be happy to pay a few dollars to have their garden kept tidy during the cold winter months.

Snowtime may be a happy time for kids but many householders would willingly pay to have their drives kept free of snow, this could be a fairly regular job in very cold countries. Just remember that not everyone is young and agile like you, or they may even be too busy to tackle these jobs. A small advert here or there, or have some flyers printed to say what you do. or you can simply knock on doors and ask if they want the job done.

Depression Your Mental State.

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Depression can affect anyone at any time. Depression can be caused by anything in your life that disturbs your mind. Lack of money, partner problems, exams, work, in fact anything that is not in the normal run of things happening in your life.

Depression affects millions of people around the world, it feels like a deep pit that you have fallen into and you can’t get out of it.  It is a feeling that you can’t explain and only those that suffer from it know it is like hells pit.

Friends and family that don’t realise what depression is tell you snap out of it or maybe to stop being sorry for yourself, if only you could.

Sometimes something will happen and the depression will suddenly lift and you will be right as rain again, but often the best course of action is to visit your GP for help.  You will probably be put on a course of anti-depressants and they may be all that is needed, but if you have been through all that and it is no better you may be sent to pshycologist to try and find out your fears or deep rooted problems.

There is no shame in depression, it is something you can’t seem to control but you must seek help to try and combat it as it can be overcome.

If for instance money problems have caused it, then a sudden lightening of the load, maybe a job turns up if you have been out of work, your depression can lift as suddenly as it began.

There is always a trigger that goes off that causes the depression, but as soon as it is released you will get back to your normal mental state and be right as rain.

Of course more serious cases where the cause is unexplainable need extra help and care to recover.
