It seems there is a get out clause to beat the clampers after all!  Mind you it takes staying power and time to do it. Arriving back to a car park and finding that your car has been clamped is not only annoying but damned expensive to boot.

In the last two days two people have been so persistant that their clamped cars went nowhere and the clampers had to just wait in the hope of getting their money.

What did they do? Its simple, they sat in their cars and wouldn’t budge while the clampers fumed.

Of course this is ok if you have nothing better to do, the woman, a district nurse on her rounds sat for six hours in the car park which was designated for the use of the residents she was visiting, even though she had other visits to make she stayed put and flummexed the clampers.

A man who had been in the synagogue came out to find his car clamped, he sat in his car refusing to budge for 36 hours the charge was finally waived.

Now as the fine can be over £300 you have to decide whether losing a days work is worth it to save that amount but if others can get away with it why not you!

If you can get the clamp off without damaging it, no offence is committed. Easiest way is normally just to let your tyre down, slip the clamp off then pump it back up or swap for your spare. Since the outrageous fee they charge you for removal cannot legally be called a fine (as private companies cannot fine you), they always frame it as a ‘removal fee’. As you didn’t get them to remove it, you don’t need to pay. Hurrah!

Most of us have debt of some sort, whats a few thousand here or there!  but how many can compete with The Duchesse of York who at the present moment is in debt to the tune of four million pounds. Does it worry her? Well right now shes sunning herself with her two daughters in Solo Grande, after all a few thousand more added to the bill won’t make too much difference.

Is the British race dieing out? Well maybe not all but the work certainly is, work for Britains that is. I wonder why!   Well it could be because there are now 3.85 million workers from abroad taking the jobs. In the twelve months between June 2009 and June 2010 the foreign workforce in Britain increased by 38.000, these were mostly people from Poland and India.  It must be our wonderful British weather attracting them all!!!!

No, I’m not going all political with my blog, just a few facts and figures now and again, after all it doesn’t affect me now I retired a few years ago.

By the way, although I’m not turning into a political blog heres a snippet you might want to take advantage of.  If your looking for an illusive taxi and your in a hurry, just watch out for those cabinet ministers who swan around in a chauffer driven car like a lord. Flag him down, you never know you might get a lift, after all we pay for that car and driver so in part it belongs to us. 

£6million a year is spent on a huge fleet of top Jags, Toyotas and Hondas for ministerial travel, who pays for them? We do of course the British taxpayer. With all the perks the MPs get its no wonder they need that big slice of your wages to pay for them.

I just had an email from Shawn Casey the top business entrepreneur. His email says “Get this Business in a box entirely free just click on the link”.   Now I don’t open many of my emails unless I know who they are from but this one looked intrigueing so I opened it.

As I said above he is offering his business in a box free so I thought I would take a look.  I clicked the link and was taken to a video which is another thing I rarely listen to as I hate them. But this time I decided to listen and I have to say it was very impressive stuff.

It was going great and he was explaining all the different ways he was going to help to get you on the way to making big money.  I kept waiting for the crunch to come as no one gives all this for free.

And there it was before we got to the end he started talking about money and what you got supposedly free was one months membership, but he also wanted $27.00 for you get started.

Of course hes in business to make money, but I just hate it when they say its free and it turns out it not. It makes me think that if they lie about that then how will the business go! is that based on lies as well.

Do you ever get writers block? Well I have just had it. I have gone a few days without writing a single thing in my blog because my brain just wouldn’t seem to focus on anything worth writing about.

This may sound crazy as in front of me I have the whole internet full of interesting and sometimes strange information to delve into to so what causes these blockages? I thought the best way to try and sort it out is to write about it and see if that helps.

I decided to write an article and see if my brain would come up with anything and lo and behold it worked. The article was a completely different kettle of fish, nothing to do with business it was about parents and children.  So I thought well if I can write an article my brain is functioning it just needed something new to focus on.

Writes block is said to be caused by anxiety, of something happening that you can’t control, well I have realised the cause of mine.  Google suddenly decided to remove my website from the first page of the searches and I knew that any income from it would dry up.  This made me extremely miserable, but after punishing me for four or five days for some misdemeaner it has reappeared on the first page again so my worries have disappeared for a while.

Hopefully the writers block has disappeared as well so I can get down to writing again.

Spring is here and peoples thoughts turn to their garden and think about all the odd jobs that need doing. Many people don’t have the time to spare to do these jobs, or they simply don’t like gardening.

Many elderly people would be glad of some help with these jobs as well, so if you are unemployed or simply want to make some extra money then these are jobs you could do.

You can either knock on peoples doors or print out some flyers to put through letter boxes advertising your services. If you are not an experienced gardener then just advertise that you cut lawns and do general tidying or odd jobs.

It can help if you put your hourly rates for the work as some people are very wary of applying for help in case it is too costly.

I think we are all chasing rainbows, what we should be doing to make easy money is to apply to be a member of parliament.  We should have all gone into politics then we could have bought our homes with public money. How do you feel about funding their lifestyle with all that tax you have to pay.

They are all a load of crooks and the worst of it is they get away with it. 

I had to tell you about this as its hard to believe but really true.

My two son in laws work in the office of a big warehouse, their manager is a good friend and they couldn’t help laughing at his face when this happened.

It was Friday afternoon and he was feeling relaxed at the thought of the weekend coming up when the phone rang.

A woman was on the other end of the phone and straight away she started talking about music, of course he responded in a jokey manner. She said I bet you guys love music when your working and he said sure, she then said how about the guys in the warehouse do you let them listen in? Laughing he said sure they love a bit of music and they work better.

He didn’t realise where she was going when she suddenly said, “do you have a license” it hit him then she was from the licensing department and checking up on them.

No they don’t have a license and a firm they know about were fined over £1000 for this offence.

What do you think about this sneaky approach?

This might seem a bit unusual but I am after some help please. I want to place free ebooks on my website for people to download but I havn’t the slightest idea how to do it.   I can put them on my site but what do I have to do for people to be able to download them?

I would appreciate any help you can give on this subject please.
