Holiday in the Pipeline

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

With summer around the corner and holidays in the pipeline, why not turn your holiday into a working holiday!  No not manual work, just take your camera, a pen and notepad and try and take some spectaculer holiday snaps and write all about some of the places you visit.

You can sell your photos online and write articles and send them to holiday magazines or online holiday websites and hopefully make some money towards your next holiday.

How To Make Money On the Internet

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

We all want to know how to make money on the internet. Some people say its easy, and others say you just have to work at it.

We all know you have to work at it but what do we work at?

Well theres Surveys, Ebay auctions, marketing, advertising, Forex trading, writing articles for money, in fact numerous ways of making money if you look for them.

At this point in time second hand goods are in high demand due to the lack of money caused by the economy, so if you have unwanted goods lying around in your home why not auction them off on Ebay.

There is now no selling fee on ebay if you start the price at 99p or under, so it won’t cost you a penny if the item doesn’t sell. Of course if the item is worth considerably more than 99p then you are taking a risk on whether you will get enough bidders to make a profit.

Its worth a try anyway and you could find yourself in the money.

Forex Trading The Real Deal

Saturday, April 11th, 2009

I have never talked much about Forex trading although you can make thousands of pounds with it. This is probably because although I have tried it myself I found it quite hard to understand.

It is the sort of business that you need to study and watch the trends carefully. I am not a high flyer so maybe that is problem as you need to have nerves of steel to dabble in forex trading.

A friend put me on to it as he does very well, but in the game of forex trading you have to be prepared to lose money as well as come out on top, in fact you have to be a gambler as you are gambling with your money.

If Forex trading interests you and you want to make quick money then I would advise you to visit this website. http://www.sirforex.com   They are real traders and I can vouch for that, they deal in thousands of dollars every day on their own account as well a their members.

They will teach you everything you need to know and learn You will realize that on SirForex.com, you are dealing with the most knowledgeable and experienced Forex traders and real people.

One Way Links

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

If you have a website then you will know that incoming one way links are important to your pr. Did you know that you can get one way links from your own pages directed to your home page.

On your inner pages you wil have the link for home or index, so to make use of that link just add your main keywords to it.

For instance if your main keywords are make money online then instead of just the single home link add

“Make Money Online Home” or back to —   This will give your home page a one way link.

Spring Cleaning.

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

This business idea came to me today, it is probably in operation in some areas but I live in a very large area with no sign of of this type of business in the vinicity.

My daughter had come round to visit and I happened to mention that my windows could do with a clean, she chirped up and said my house could do with a clean I have to go soon and try to get something done.

Now she has three children which have to be ferried to and from school each day, she then goes to university and she works evenings in a supermarket so you can imagine that time is of a premium.

I said to her yes wouldn’t it be great if we could phone someone to come in for a whole day and do a thorough spring clean.

That got me thinking, two or three people could do this together and start a business from home. Not just hourly cleaning but whole house spring cleaning. It could turn into a profitable business once it takes off.

Are Business Ideas at a Standstill?

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Have we come to the end of those sparkling new ideas that used to jump out of the woodwork every now and again. It is at least a couple of years ago that a young man came up with the idea of selling advertising on pixels.

He made his fortune then went off to spend it.  Nothing new has appeared since, so has the internet finally come to a stand still, and do we just keep plugging away at all the old programs in the hope that newbies keep appearing to satisfy our lust for making money?

Thousands of articles are being written every day, but those articles are just a continuation of those that have gone before with nothing new or inspiring to make you want to use them.

Blogs are very similar, every day people rack their brains trying to find something new to write about, but it doesn’t happen, they simply go back time and again to the old and trusted remedies and write the same thing but with a slight twist to make it look different.

What we need is new ideas to ad a bit of sparkle to our days but as far as the business, or money making world is concerned I think we have come to a full stop.

Write Articles to Earn Money

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Writing Articles can be a lucrative home business and and it pays to know the right and  the wrong way to go about it.

Although keywords are important in your articles, always make sure they fall in naturally and they do not stand out as if you have placed them deliberately.

Do not stuff your article with keywords, one or two here and there is sufficient.

Content is king, so your articles should be informative and well written, stating facts  and placing any important information near the beginning.

Keep your paragraphs short, no more than three or four sentences as large blocks of text are off putting and the reader is likely to give up.  If you are talking about a product and it is not on your own website, do not be afraid of giving the address of the website, it will do you no harm and it will help the ranking of your page.

Your header or title is an important part of your article as this is what the reader sees first, if its not descriptive or looks dull and uninspiring the reader will pass it by and look for something better.

If you have difficulty thinking of ideas for your articles simply look around your home or your your office, jot down a list of things you can see around the room or on your desk. If you have a window close by, glance through and jot down what you can see in the vicinity.

For instance on your desk you will have a pen and pencil, now think to yourself, I wonder how many types of pens there are on sale today, when were the first pens used, and what were they like, who invented the pen? who invented a biro?

I am not saying you should write about it, but every thing you see could be a starting point. Most information can be found on the web so you should have no difficulty finding out facts and figures for what ever you write about.

People like to know why, and where, who, and what. Try and provide answers and you will come up with some great articles.

Write naturally and not in a stilted fashion, readers like to know that a real person has written the article so be yourself when writing.

Keep your articles to around five hundred words, they can be shorter  but five hundred is the average. If your article turns out to be around a thousand words then break it up and make it into two articles, most people get bored with long articles and never read through to the end.

Your bio at the end of the article is equally important, tell the readers a bit about yourself, your expertise in what you do, also add your website address so readers will visit your website as extra traffic is what you are looking for.

Articles and One Way Links.

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

You have built a great website that is supposed to be making a lot of money for you, but its not.  The cause is probably the lack of traffic, if you are not getting traffic there is no one to buy your products or even click on your ads.

What is the easiest way to get traffic?   Reciprocal links use to be the order of the day but now one way links are given more importance by the search engines and the easiest way to get one way links is to write articles and submit them to article sites.

Writing articles is a simple process, you just decide the theme of your article and build it up from there. If you are promoting your website or blog then it makes sense that most of your articles are based  upon the content of your website.  You probably already have plenty of content on your website so you can get ideas and leads from that.

Never copy content, your work must be original if you are going to place it on an article site. Make sure you have no mistakes in your text. Many article sites provide a spell checker if you are not sure.

When you write your article make sure a paragraph is not too long, a reader will soon get bored if he has to read long lengths of text without a break, on the other hand unless you are making point don’t make them too short. Short paragraphs look like lists in disguise.

If you are writing an article for an article site you should aim for a minimum of at least 350 to 400 words, this would be a short article but quite acceptable.

Keywords are important but they must look natural amongst the text, don’t try and stuff them in and make your article look stilted. If it is a serious subject you are writing about then then keep it serious, but if it is light hearted you can ad some humour to it as many people like these kind of articles and will happily place them on their website.

Write your bio at the end of your article with a few words about your expertise, then include your website url. As the rules state if the article is used by others they must keep the bio in place and this provides the many one way links you are striving for.

Give Your Website a Facelift

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Have you almost given up on your website?  Is it wavering about in the midst of hundreds or thousands of other lost and lonely websites.  If so its time to get working on it and bring it out into the sunshine.

My own website was always way up on the first page of google searches and it brought me in a healthy monthly income, then I suddenly lost my husband and all thoughts of websites and the internet disapeared from view as I wallowed in misery.

Of course Google and the other search engines didn’t look kindly at a website neglected for almost eighteen months and ultimately it disappeared from view  and most of the revenue with it.  When I finally decided to seek out my website I found it way back on or around page 800.

I began straight away to work on it, I changed the front page completely, keeping the same keywords of course. I added new pages and tweaked the old ones by adding new content and generally gave the whole website a facelift.

I saw my website start creeping back up so I kept this regime up by continuing to add pages plus writing the odd article to submit to article sites.  Then one day my website jumped and landed straight into the first ten pages of google.

It slowly crept up and finally it was back to page one, which pleased me greatly.  I check on my website every day to see if its slipped and I don’t neglect it anymore, I continue to add the odd page and more content to other pages, I also change the ads every now and again to keep it fresh and looking different for any repeat visitors that happen to pop in.

So take heart and get to work on that website to give it a new lease of life and a bit of sparkle if you want to start earning an income from it.
