I am back after losing my website and blog for a few days.  My website has been online for six years and this is the first and hopefully the last time it will happen.

As my website is on the first page of Make money online on Google UK I was worried it would disappear from view due to the  lapse. The reason this happened is because the email address that the domain is registered with had gone out of exsistence so I got no reminder that the payment was due.

So take heed and make sure your email is always up to date so you don’t have this problem.

I have not been wasting my time while my website was down, I wrote a few articles to submit to free article sites because as most of you know those articles give you those precious back links which we all want.  I just hope when I submit them that they are what people are looking for as the more people that add them to their websites then the more backlinks I aqquire.

It was much easier when reciprocal linking was the order of the day as I got so many requests for link exchange that I got fed up of adding them. They are still useful but not so important any more.

I just want to give a word of advice to those of you who are thinking of setting up a new website. Even if you are short of money always always find the spare cash to buy your own domain name and hosting.

When I began online seven years ago I started off with a free website, I bought my present one six months later.  Both websites were in top position on Google .com and UK for the search words make money Online.

I was doing really well money wise when suddenly after three years my free website disappeared. The host who was Yahoo just removed it. It chopped my profit straight in half so I was extremely glad that my other website was my own domain.

I have never bothered to  build another although I have thought about it, but I can’t be bothered with all the linking etc. I keep my website in trim by working on it every day, adding new text and removing old ones, this keeps me busy enough without having another one.

Sorry if this post is all about my problems but I am sure you will forgive me.

Deciding what business to start can be a bit worrying to some people, but when you think about it there is not a lot of difference what you start as long as it is something that you know will interest the multitude.

For instance the health business: millions of people buy health products as an ongoing process so if you get satisfied customers you are likely to keep them in the pipeline as regular customers which means the build up of your business.

Health has never been more prominant than it is at this present time, it is very high profile with the news media adverts impressing people as to the benefits of healthy living and ways to keep fit.

Every day thousands of people are searching online for cheaper options or for health products that are hard to find in their local areas, also many people find it less embarrassing to buy products like Viagra etc online rather than visit a doctor.

The health industry makes billions every year so this has to be a good business to get into.  Yes there are hundreds or more websites out there already selling health products, but the same goes for any business.  There are millions of websites on line and many of those millions are in the selling business, but that doesn’t stop new ones from springing up every single day in their bid to start making money.

Every where you look you will have competition so you must be competitive and do your best to build a website that strikes a chord in people and makes them want to visit your website rather than your competition.

I often surf other websites just to check out my competition and most of them I just skim over until I come to one that seems to stand out from the rest, I then stop and spend a bit of time browsing over it working out what that website has that the others don’t.  It is surprising what you can learn and how you can improve your own website. Not by copying but just by implementing one or two of the ideas into your own website.

What colours attract you to other websites ?  Yes colour does come into it, many people will bypass a website just because they don’t like the colour of it.  I always keep the main body of my website white it is much easier to read the text, but I like to see a coloured back ground as long as its not intrusive.

I’m not really a fan of online free offers or the free lotteries, although I did win £10.00 on one of the free lotteries when I use to do them so they are legitimate and worth trying.  I have also received free samples when I have filled the offer in so I don’t really have anything against them.

Thinking about it seriously I suppose you have as much chance of winning an online free lottery as you do with the paid offline ones and as they cost you nothing to play it seems silly not to have a go at them all.

As you probably know the more income streams you have the more money you make.

 You believe you have found the perfect Business and you are all geared up to make lots of money.  You have see the ads about Drop shipping and it sounds great. It is great for some people! BUT will it be great for you?

Of course it will you think! Well think again its not as easy as it sounds and don’t be fooled into thinking you don’t need money to get started

First of all you start your search for drop shippers, Wow there is loads. Go on click on one or two.   That’s right you have a found a great drop shipper but first of all they want a joining fee.  OK you join, now what!  You find it is a list with loads of drop shippers you can use. This is even better, so you click on one or two, and lo and behold they want you to pay as well to sell their products!

Is it a wind up? No they really do, It might be just a few pounds or a lot of pounds. And then to make things worse some of them want holding fee to make sure you use their site. It could be £20 or £30 depending on which site you pick. They call it a trust.   

OK you pay up again, but oh the disappointment when you see their sale products, Most of them are already advertised on Ebay and other auction sites, and when you check they are selling them at  much cheaper prices than you could ever hope to do.

WOW! at last you have found one that is really free to use, yes there are a few out there. BUT a slight drawback. They have a big warehouse, but evidently this warehouse only stocks one of each product or so it seems.

Ok you decide to have a go any way, perhaps you have chosen jewellery, so you go to Ebay and put a gorgeous gold ring on auction for five days.  Great someone has made a bid, at the end of  five days you find you have made a nice little profit. They pay up and off you go to warehouse to pay the cash so the ring will be dropshipped to the customer.

 Oh dear they have run out of stock! not surprising when there was only one to start with. What do you tell your  happy  customer who thinks they have just got a bargain and they are eagerly waiting for it.

What a great start, your disgruntled customer leaves you negative feedback and wham that’s a black mark on Ebay.

So back you go and read every thing you can if they have a forum. What is the advice that you find,  Purchase first to be sure of the product then put it for sale. So much for starting your business without having to spend.

If you can afford to purchase it then go ahead, it is a risk like anything else, but when you see hundreds of the same or similar on the auction you just have to hope that yours is the chosen one that they bid on.

Its quite true that some one some where will bid on anything, so instead of spending £10 or £20 on a piece of jewellery or whatnot, take a tenner and go to your nearest  pound shop and buy ten items, see what you make on them.

That is my advice, take it or leave it. I bet you make a profit.

If you want to step on the ladder of success and build your own business empire you need to take a leaf of the book of those who have already done it.

How do these self made millionaires do it?

At the beginning of their career to make money they jump in and get on with task they have allotted themself by working to get it off the ground. This might take a few weeks or a few months depending on the task they have chosen.

For instance, lets just say they have chosen to start a cleaning business.  Many cleaning jobs can be found on adds in shop windows so this is a start.   If it is cleaning offices then you will negotiate an hourly rate with the owner and with payment going into your bank account.

Let us say the hourly rate is £7.00 an hour. You work at this job for a couple of weeks while in the meantime you look for other similar jobs.  You then begin to outsource the work with you acting as the employer, you find someone to do the first job at £6.50 and hour giving you 50p an hour for doing nothing.

You continue in this way canvassing for work and employing others to do it for you while you make a commission from each employee. You are now building your empire, and as you get known the jobs will come to you with very little effort. The figures I quoted are just for example, I don’t know what the hourly rate is for cleaning, but as you grow so will your knowledge.

I have onl;y given cleaning as an example, you can start many businesses in this way and maybe one day become a self made millionaire yourself.

The present climate is distressing for many people, businesses closing down, people losing their homes which is all due in my mind to those greedy fat cats who thought they knew best about how to conduct a countries finances.

Property is bricks and morter and it won’t disappear untill you make the decision to sell, hopefully at a large profit.

Ask any working mom or professional person what chore in the home they hate most and four out of five will say ironing.

  After a busy day at work no one wants to stand ironing because apart from needing the rest valuable time is spent as ironing is not a job that can be done in five minutes.
