Build your Own Membership Site

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

This looks very interesting and from what I can make out it is free.  It comes from surefirewealth.com which you will find in my last post.

It is how to build your own membership site, they are offering the software to do this.

A membership site will add value to your own website if you ever plan to sell it, it also generates repeat traffic to your site and it’s a tool to generate passive income from fees as well as recommended products or adsense or banners or whatever you do to monitize your site.

There is much more to this so it is worth paying a visit to check the whole thing out, it could be the start of earning that extra income you are looking for, or just something of interest to get your teeth into to.

Make Money with Paid To Review.

Monday, February 16th, 2009

The majority of us are here to make money and we are always searching  for ways to make more money.  Have you thought about Paid to Review? If you have blogs or a website you can review products and get paid for it. I am admitting to the fact that I have never done this, but thousands of people are being paid to review every day.

From what I have read the amount of money you will earn is dependant on how many reviews that you do on your own and other peoples blogs. Here are a few websites that you can check out.

PayPerPost
PayPerPost pay for posts in your blog or website. You write a review or opinion about a product, and if the posts are approved you are paid for your posts.

Blogitive
You write your opinions about new products that are released by companies. You will be paid through your PayPal account weekly for each post.

There are many more sites to check if this opportunity interests you.

Are you Interested in Digital Photography?

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

Digital photography is a firm favourite on the internet and this is one area where you can make money. There are a few websites that will buy your digital photos from you, or they will put them for sale on their websites.

My suggestion is, instead of selling your digital photos why not build your own website and sell them yourself. You can also accept other peoples photos put them for sale and make a small commission from them when they sell.

It could be an interesting business and possibly a luctrative one.

Apart from your domain name and hosting it is a virtually free to get started with this business.

Public Domain Money Maker

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

We all want to make money online and to do this we need customers to our websites.  No matter what type of website or blog you have it must have traffic if you are going to make money with it.

Writing articles is a sure way of getting back links as long as your article is informative and interesting to the reader. You want the reader to place your article on his or her website so it must have good content to attract attention.

Many people find article writing a daunting prospect, it is not always easy to find a new subject, or your ideas won’t come into words.

One way that could help you is the public domain. It is a large collection of works that were published 75 years ago and these works are open for public use.

The public domain can be anything from books, movies, plays, songs, photos, manuals, posters, courses, reports, transcripts, journals, drawings, etc which are open to the public to use for free.

This includes copying, distributing and adaptation, and  this means you can use any of these works to repackage or resell and make money with them.

Of course you will need to amend the articles to include keywords about the subject in hand.

Public domain works are copyrighted works which have already expired, these works are given to the public domain for free use by the public. They also contain  printed materials by the government as well as forms, facts, numbers in general natural things.

This means there is a huge amount of valuable information that is available online and free for you to use as you wish.

Always read all the facts and information on the website so you understand how to use it.

Here are a few sources where you can find the public domain websites.

Promoting Your Business

Friday, February 13th, 2009

You  have decided to start your own business but their are so many products on the market it is hard to decide which, and what you should promote.

The problem is no matter what you choose it has all been before and there are websites galore promoting whatever you decide on.

Think of it this way, when you go to a supermarket say you need shampoo. You see on the shelves dozens of different makes of shampoo all claiming to do the job but with different ways of doing it.

Some are for dry or greasy hair, others have conditioner added, some thicken and all claim to have some ingredient that makes it different from the rest.

You must base your business with this idea in mind. You might be promoting the same  product as others but you must find a different way of promoting it.

Read all the small print and research the product from beginning to end, you are sure to find some differences or something to make your product stand out from the rest.

Check out other websites similar to what you have in mind and work out how they could be improved on, then impliment the improvements into your own website.

Price ranges might differ on other websites, don’t try to under cut, remember that if yours looks to be cheaper it might give the idea that your product is inferior to the rest.

Do not think of it as a competition, no one goes to the same shop to buy their goods, so if your product is good and the after sales spot on you will get your share of customers.

Is the Blog Here to Stay?

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

This is not the voice of doom speaking, it is just my two pennorth as I see it.   I have said it before so here it is once again.

Apart from the well known, meaning those with a good readership, I believe that blogs are on the way out.  I am talking about the type of blogs that people build expecting to make money with them.

Many people start with a will and when no money is forthcoming in the first few months they give up and go back to the old favourite the website.  The website is less hassle and daily maintenance is not required, unlike the blog which if it is run correctly requires the use of a few brains and daily posts.

There are thousands of blogs floating about on the internet like bits of flotsam, long forgotten by the owners, they are extremely easy to start as most are free to the user.

I don’t know if they stay in existence or if they finally disapear like the old websites do.

If you are determined that you are here to stay and you intend to make money with your blog then I wish you luck and I hope it transpires, otherwise if writing daily posts  is likely to get too much then opt for the old favourite the website.

It will require work of course, but once its up and running it justs needs maintaining to bring the daily traffic.

Online Home Business and Affiliate Programs

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Starting an online business to earn an income is relatively easy; your first step is to build a website where you can advertise your business.

If you have already made the decision about your business and how you will make money with it that’s great, if not you must find something that will interest you and earn money at the same time.

An affiliate website can be quite lucrative, where you advertise other people’s products and earn commission from them. There is a host of websites to choose from, some with thousands of products like Amazon or Clickbank.

I favour Clickbank as it is easy to use and you make good commission from it. You can also combine various affiliate sites which gives you more income streams, or you can just choose one product and promote that by explaining all its uses and all the information about it to create a must have product or program.

Amazon is a likely candidate for single projects as it sells everything from e-books, electronics, home items, and even clothes, also many other types of goods.  It gives excellent information and graphics; you can even create your own shop on Amazon.

Clickbank is for informational and home business programs sold as e-books, it is highly successful as e-books are the way forward to creating a successful business and a great learning tool.

Adsense from Google is also an excellent earner, the ads that Google serve up will compliment your website and add another income stream.

Once your website is complete you will require a domain name and hosting before your website can go online, you can buy cheap or expensive that decision is yours to make.

You now have a business website but to make that business successful you must optimise it with keywords pertaining to your project and set about acquiring traffic to your website, this is one of the most important aspects as if you have no customers, you have no sales.

Don’t Waste Your Time Use It To Make Money

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

If you are looking to make some money offline it seems pretty hard in the present climate, but there are jobs going if you look hard enough.

Most jobs though are part time or just a few hours a day.  Window cleaners are few and far between so this is one area you could look at. It is two years since I saw a sign of one and I live in quite a large residential area.  I believe the cost to a normal semi is in the region of £15. which is not to be sneezed at so you could make good money.

People are willing to pay to have their dogs walked, especially in the cold weather, here again a flyer through the letterbox or an ad in a local shop could soon get you earning money.

Pet sitting also pays, it is suprising how many people would be glad of your services.

As and when Spring arrives, most homes look weathered and dowdy, try offering a house cleaning service, spucing up the doors and paintwork to make the outside of the home look fresh and clean again.

How about home computer lessons for newbies, or if you are good at a certain subject like maths, geography, history, etc, offer evening tutor sessions.  Many people would love to learn certain crafts if you have patience and believe you could teach them then give it a try.

Just find something you are good at, that you think someone might like to learn then jump in, a few flyers or ads in shops could do the trick and get you earning again.

More About Cancer Cure

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

I have been reading more of the Rick Simpson story with his cure for cancer, and it seems very likely and positive to me.  My husband had cancer plus other serious ailments, and if I had read about this before and known about it, I would have done everything in my power to get this hemp oil as any lifeline is better than none.

I truely believe that the goverments and medical powers are holding back on allowing its benefits to be used due to the money they would lose if  all their other medications of pain relief and posible life extending drugs were passed over in favour of this cure.

Most doctors know all about these herbal cures but due to goverment protocol they are not allowed to give out any advice or information about them.

You can ask your GP about it as there is no law against questions, but you are unlikely to get any positive answers.  Please read this cutting I have copied.

Don’t expect a doctor working inside the system to buck the system. The risks are still too great!
The advice she or he offers you is controlled by the large medical industry that makes its money from expensive cancer fighting drugs and treatments. It is an industry that doesn’t look favorably on natural supplements or other cancer treatments that they cannot patent or make a large profit from. Years from now the current conventional cancer treatments used by doctors will on the whole be viewed in the same light that we view the old medical practice of blood letting to cure illnesses.

That is reason you are never likely to obtain this medicine legally, but “where theres a will theres a way”  and if you have a loved one that is terminally ill then make it your business to read “The Rick Simpson story”   I also found websites that tell you in detail how to grow and make this herbal cure, so their life could be in your hands.
