Sell or Buy Text Links.

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

If your website needs a boost to get you out of the doldrums and you need some help, and if you can’t write articles to get those backlinks then why not buy a few, there are websites out there that sell those all important backlinks.  You pay monthly for each backlink as long as you retain it on your website.

They start at PR1 websites and go up to PR 8. of course the better the PR the more you will pay which is quite high for a PR8 site.

On the other side of the coin, if you have a website with PR you can make money by selling your backlinks. You won’t make a fortune if your site is only PR 1 I believe it is 50p or 50cents a month, I’m not sure on that but you can check it out.

The higher your PR then the more you make each month.

There again why not advertise them on your own website to save paying commission fees to another website that deal with them.

Keywords for Search Engines

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

I have been looking through some of the top work at home websites on Google  and they are virtually all very similar. The same jobs and opportunities with not much variety.

The main thing that stands out with all those in the work at home top ten on Google are the keywords, they stand out like beacons on a hillside.

Of course keywords are one of the main elements for the search engines which is a shame, as I for one would love to write the way I think and feel without worrying about whether I am inserting enough keywords into the text.

It all seems so artificial and often stilted, which can often make what should be a good article, look like a load of rubbish.

Just imagine if you were writing to a friend or a loved one and keywords were the order of the day, how pathetic would that look!

Of course I do know that keywords are essential as fodder for the search engines, but why can’t they be satisfied with meta tags! after all thats what they are there for.

Backlinks are also a load of nonense, I have hundreds of reciprocal links on my website, what is to stop me removing the lot and having them as backlinks. I expect this is already done by many unscupulous webmasters as not many webmasters check their links on a regular basis if at all.

Well I will get off my high horse as I have said enough, after all before long Google will probably come up with something entirely new to confound us and change the whole system around once again.
