Gold at the End of the Rainbow
By Sylvia White
We are all searching for the pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow which now seems to have transferred to the internet.
The trouble is that grumpy old leprechaun that guards it
manages to keep it well hidden, so first of all we have to find a way to
get rid of him before we can start searching for it.
Now we all know that the grumpy old leprechaun is a myth so that
obstacle has been disposed of, and the pot of gold at the end of the
rainbow is the dream we all have of making our fortune.
The internet holds all sorts of possibilities for us as fortunes have
been made, and many people are earning five to ten times more than
they ever could with an ordinary job.
The problem with many people is that though they dream about
making a fortune they are not prepared to put themselves out to
try and make it.
As I am a team leader in an affiliate program I have heard so many
excuses from thousands of people.
-
I can't afford it
-
I don't have enough time
-
I don't understand it
-
Its a scam
-
I'll think about it
These are just a few.
What they don't realise is that the gold at the end of the rainbow is
within touching distance and they just have to reach out and grasp it.
I am not saying it is easy, if it was we would all be made of money.
It requires effort, work, and commitment to get started and the
determination to succeed.
When you reach a low ebb where nothing seems to be working, and it
happens to most people, this is the time to shake yourself and say "Its
not going to beat me".
Determination and patience is the key to finding that pot of gold.
Let us start at the beginning, you have joined a program and paid
your subscription fee what do you do now?
If you are sensible you will read everything you can find on the
website it is there to help you, if you don't understand it then cut it
into sections and read each one over and over until it suddenly clicks
into place.
If that doesn't work then if it is a reliable program you will have a
mentor at the end of an email and you just have to ask for their help
and advice.
Never email them and say " I have just joined under you so what do I
do now"?
Explain to them that you have read the information but you don't
really understand it and can they help you.
Now it is in your mentors interest to help and advise you as you
could end up a team leader and make lots more money for him as your
affiliates will do for you.
There is nothing worse than to have an affiliate pay their
subscription for a few months then suddenly opt out with no explanation
or not having bothered to contact you at all.
You have lost an affiliate that could have been a good team leader if
they had asked for help, and they have lost the money they paid for
their subscriptions.
Let us look at it in context, if a relative left you a shop in
their will. For instance let us say a pet shop, and you knew
nothing whatever about pets but you fancied the idea of running your own
shop what would you do?
Would you open up on Monday morning and stand behind the
counter waiting for the customers to come and buy them? or would you go
out and purchase some books to read up on them so you would know what to
feed them and how to keep them clean and learn as much about them as you
possibly could
If you have happy and healthy pets and you know what a packet of
canary seeds looks like you will have no problems selling them and your
new shop will thrive.
Business is the same you need to learn all about it so you can
explain to your affiliates what they want to know and how to go about
it. You will have a happy team, a successful business and the pot
of gold is getting closer every day.
