some light on the facts related to making money online. I am an
experienced and successful home business entrepreneur and
therefore hope that you will find my advice practical and
useful.
To begin with, you must have read it a hundred times before, but
I want to say it anyway – that home business is not about
overnight success or hitting a jackpot.
Just
because home business can be done on internet, half the people
(read, novice) think it’s farce and the other half thinks it’s
lottery. Through this article I am going to nail it into the
heads of people who are planning to give home business a try
that home business is like any regular business and should be
taken as seriously. It requires as much planning, self
motivation, perseverance. To be successful, home business
doesn’t offer any shortcuts that I know of. The utmost short cut
that I can offer you is an advice to steer clear of things that
sound too good to be true. It will save you both, time and
money.
It is so
human to get attracted to headlines like “put your home business
on autopilot and make $250 per day” Oh! How we can’t resist the
temptation to click on these links. The landing pages are ready
and all set with bigger dreams and gigantic promises. My dear
friend, if it was so easy to make money online wouldn’t
everybody be doing it?
It’s a
fact that home business can make you rich. Even stinking rich if
you have the potential. But it will require you to gear up to
meet the challenges. No matter what, but you can’t strike gold
with home business, overnight. Home business is a journey that
requires learning, re-learning, de-learning, applying, executing
and so on, on an ongoing basis.
Finally
as promised, here’s the checklist that every home business
aspirant who wants to succeed at it should have:
Have you
finalized about the concept and business model? Have you
finalized the product you are going to sell? Do you wish to sell
other people's products or make one of your own? Have you
finalized domain name? Did you do your research about
finalizing/registering it? Is the hosting package decided and
finalized? Are you going to require and install an auto
responder service, payment gateway etc? If you are not going to
need them in the beginning, it’s perfectly fine. Will you be
open to getting an affiliate program so that other online home
business entrepreneurs can sell your product against profit?
Likewise, do you plan to join the affiliate programs offered by
others? Have you considered the cpanel/stats program to monitor
your site's activities?
If you
are serious about making money online long term you need to be
able to find answers to all the question asked above, before
proceeding any further. Finding answer will take you through a
learning curve. Things which sound difficult or complicated will
start sounding interesting and challenging. Home business is an
interesting and waiting to be explored world out there. Once you
get a hang of it, there is no stopping you. There is no bigger
pleasure in the world than being self employed. That too online!
With a flourishing home business you don’t ever have to worry
about retiring. And when its time to hang the boots, your
children simply inherit it. There is no bigger convenience and
blessing than being able to make money from the comforts of home
with the help of a computer!
